  • Ask for the order, create appropriate urgency, and identify opportunities to increase order value through additional School Outfitters solutions.
Consultative Selling amp; Opportunity Development
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer needs, budgets, timelines, decision-making processes, and purchasing objectives.
  • Recommend solutions that align with customer requirements and proactively address barriers to purchase.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up until the opportunity is won, lost, or appropriately dispositioned.
  • Prioritize activity based on opportunity value, customer intent, timing, and revenue potential.
Customer Retention amp; Relationship Growth
  • Build lasting customer relationships that encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty.
  • Expand existing relationships and identify future projects and opportunities.
  • Position School Outfitters as a trusted resource by educating customers on our products, services, contracts, and solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Achievement or exceedance of individual sales goals
  • Improved quote-to-order, lead-to-order, and lead-to-quote conversion
  • Customer satisfaction and overall customer experience

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated success achieving or exceeding individual revenue goals.
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of sales opportunities and convert customer interest into revenue.
  • Strong consultative selling, discovery, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and retain customer relationships.
  • Strong sense of urgency, personal accountability, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze performance, adjust sales activity, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Experience with AI solutions preferred.
Schedule
