Team members work with modern equipment and materials to help clients move from concept to production efficiently and reliably. Role Description The Additive Manufacturing Tech will operate and monitor 3D printers and related equipment in an on-site production environment located in Muscatine, IA. This part-time role includes preparing build files, loading materials, maintaining clean workspaces, and ensuring equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly. The Tech will inspect printed parts, perform basic post-processing, and document production results to meet quality and delivery requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve identifying and troubleshooting routine equipment or process issues, following clean room and safety protocols, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. The Tech will communicate status updates clearly, follow work instructions, and support ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in clean room procedures and maintaining controlled, organized work environments.
  • Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including inspecting parts, measuring components, and documenting results accurately.
  • Candidates should possess strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, reporting issues, and following written and verbal instructions.
  • Experiencew with 3D printing or additive manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work safely around machinery is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or relevant manufacturing experience is a plus.
