Job description

Loparex is a leading global manufacturer of silicone release liners. We partner with some of the world's largest manufacturers to create world-class products used in branding and packaging solutions, hygiene and medical supplies, automotive and electronic components, aviation, and thousands of other aspects of day-to-day life.
Our Hammond, Wisconsin factory is looking for both new and experienced Machine Operators to join our team! If you're new to the manufacturing industry, we offer onsite, hands-on training and all team members are eligible for multiple opportunities for growth, learning and development.
Day Shift Schedule: 5:00AM - 5:00PM
  • Monday - Thursday with the possibility of Fridays depending on production needs

Base Pay Rate: $19.50 hourly, plus premiums based upon the following:
  • Opportunities for additional pay increases if trained as a secondary or primary operator

Responsibilities
  • Operate the machine; this includes start-up, changeover, shutdown and daily operation.
  • Observe and monitor machine for defects during operation.
  • Identify and correct problems on machine. Notify appropriate personnel of any operational issues.
  • Use computer to enter valid information and to print out roll labels.
  • Perform routine quality testing on product.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including the equipment.
  • Follow company safety procedures.
  • Must have regular consistent attendance.

Qualifications
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity and customers.
  • Requires the ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions, use basic math, take accurate measurements and use hand tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand/walk for 12 hours.
