Job description

JOB TITLE: Machinist - Day Shift
LOCATION: Chelmsford, MA
PAY RATE: $28/hour

We are a national staffing firm partnering with top-tier aerospace companies, and we are seeking first-class employees to join our clients' teams!

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • This hands-on contract role offers growth potential in an innovative environment focused on high-quality machining processes and precision products.

  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

  • Operate precision machine tools to produce original parts and components

  • Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies per work instructions and drawings

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions

  • Set up cutting tools, adjust machine settings, and monitor machining processes

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and accurate data entry

  • Collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement

  • Interim clearance process begins at offer stage

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Basic computer and math skills

  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machine operations

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of ESD procedures is a plus

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn

  • Safety shoes required

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
