Job description

Up-North Plastics, a leading manufacturer of plastic products, is a seeking Industrial Mechanic at its Cottage Grove, MN location for our day shift.  A successful candidate must be mechanically inclined and have some previous experience working on engines/vehicles/machines.

***STARTING PAY OF $26.00***


Qualifications:

  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Experience working with hand/power tools
  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Observing mechanical devices in operation and listening to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
  • Dismantling machines to gain access to remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, power tools, and safety lock-out devices.
  • Inspecting used parts.
  • Repairing or replacing defective parts.
  • Installing new parts.
