Work You'll Do
a successful candidate :
  • Support the implementation of extended detection and response services to enable automated, real-time threat detection, investigation, and response across multiple security layers.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Perform security operations activities to help monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Work closely with client stakeholders in a staff augmentation capacity to support day-to-day security operations needs.
  • Communicate regularly with the client to provide updates, align on priorities, and address operational needs.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of detection, investigation, and response processes across the security environment.

Our Cyber Defense & Resilience offering assists clients in defending against advanced threats by transforming security operations, monitoring technology, data analytics, and threat intelligence. Helps manage and protect dynamic attack surfaces and provides rapid crisis and cyber incident response, ensuring clients can be ready for, respond to, and recover from business disruptions.
The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
  • 5+ years of total cybersecurity or security operations experience.
  • 3+ years experience with Palo Alto security technologies.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or implementing XDR capabilities for threat detection.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Cortex XDR, or comparable XDR platforms if approved by the client.
  • Experience as a cloud security engineer or in a comparable cloud security role.
  • Experience conducting or supporting cybersecurity risk assessments.
  • Experience working directly with clients and senior stakeholders, including CIO or C-suite audiences.
  • Strong communication, executive presentation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check.
  • Ability to work primarily on-site in the Tallahassee area or meet client-specific on-site requirements.
Preferred:
  • Experience with TEAGIS, a Secureworks product.
  • Experience with vulnerability management.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, frameworks, and reporting practices.
  • Palo Alto or other XDR-related certifications.
  • Experience with comparable XDR platforms, such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne.
  • Experience with cyber threat hunting, endpoint protection, or security operations center environments.
  • Experience supporting public-sector or highly regulated clients.
