Job description

SUMMARY

The Niemann Ranch Hand is responsible for managing day to day farm operations and ensuring the quality Niemann Ranch Beef.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cattle nutrition
  • Cattle health and well-being
  • Pasture and crop management
  • Take proper steps in nutrition and health to grow cattle from calf, to backgrounders, all the way to finish
  • Feed and finish standards to produce high quality choice beef for retail sales in NFI owned and operated stores
  • Maintains farm equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
