The role!
Position: Career Services Skills Instructor
Location: Wakefield, MA | Woburn, MA
Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday (8am-4pm)

Summary & Responsibilities
The Career Services Skills Instructor is an integral role in our Day Program Career Services Department that supports Individuals with developmental disabilities to enhance work skills and find employment opportunities.
  • Provide direct support and assist individuals in gaining community employment by helping them learn specific skills both in-house and in the community, and developing relationships with area businesses
  • Create and participate in community-based activities
  • Provide personal care and assistance to individuals consistent with individual needs as they strive to reach their goals
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • A passion and dedication to supporting our people is a must
  • Valid Driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Must pass company background and reference checks
