Job description

Job Type
Part-time, Contract
Description
Paradigm is the established leader in the United States in providing pipeline safety training programs.
If you are a retired emergency responder interested in training other emergency responders across the United States about pipeline safety response and awareness, you should consider submitting your resume and a photo (head shot) to Paradigm. The perfect candidate for consideration for this position would be a retired emergency responder, inclined to work well with others and operate independently in the field.
Our clients (nationally and regionally known pipeline companies) are increasingly requesting these pipeline safety training sessions to take place between February 1 and April 15 of each year. Due to this increasing demand, we need additional skilled instructors with an emergency response background.
Requirements
If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please see this information:
  1. Instructors must provide their own laptop and backup laptop for training sessions.
  2. Paradigm instructors are contract (IRS Form 1099) instructors.
  3. Paradigm pays a generous per-diem for hotel & meals.
  4. All authorized flights and rental car expenses are covered by Paradigm.
  5. Once an instructor has been selected and trained, they will be assigned a schedule of at least one week duration with a total of 3 - 6 training programs during the week.
  6. Some instructors could be assigned to conduct the full run of training programs for a specific state.
  7. Our company pays top wages to our contract instructors.
  8. Instructors typically deliver courses from January - April and again from August - November time frames. (Summer months and holidays are generally your own time).
  9. Most instructors are retired and conduct presentations throughout the busy periods (see above) but we do have instructors that commit to a minimal program load of 8-10 weeks annually.
  10. Courses are normally Monday - Thursday with possible travel days on Sunday and Friday.
