Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring individuals with the passion to provide one-on-one care to children or adults with developmental disabilities in their homes.

Hourly Wage: Pay rate is based upon assigned client(s) location ($26.00-$28.00)


Responsibilities

  • Provide support for developmentally disabled individuals with challenging behaviors, to relieve family members from daily living activities.
  • Implement behavior management strategies including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
  • Engage with the client through activities that they enjoy.
  • Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers for behaviors.
  • Provide crisis intervention with the client’s safety in mind.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • CPI or Pro Act required
  • 6 months experience working with behavior is required
  • Ability to pass a background check, live scan, and reference check
  • Current TB test, Physical, CPR and First Aid certification (valid within 30 days of hire)
