Job description

General Labor / Pipe Puller  
Automation Personnel Services is seeking General Laborers / Pipe Pullers to support pipe manufacturing, handling, and installationrelated tasks. This role is physically demanding and requires individuals who can work safely around machinery, chemicals, and fiberglass materials.
Pipe Pullers assist with moving, aligning, and preparing pipe sections, operating tools, and supporting production teams throughout the facility. Location (77073)
 
Pay Rate
 $13/hr to start → $15/hr after 90 days (directhire eligibility)
 
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday 7AM to 7PM ( or vice versa for night shift) (sometimes Sunday)
12 hour shifts (daily)

General Labor / Pipe Puller Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with pulling, moving, and positioning fiberglass pipe sections
  • Operate hand tools and basic power tools as needed
  • Support production teams with staging materials and preparing work areas
  • Follow safety procedures, including respirator use and PPE requirements
  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods

General Labor / Pipe Puller Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must be willing to work either day or night shifts
  • Must be willing to shave / no beards due to respirator and mask requirements
  • Ability to work 60 hours weekly (overtime required)
  • Ability to work in a hot, dusty, or chemicalexposed environment
  • Must be dependable with strong attendance
  • No experience required — training provided
