CAD/CAM Designer

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Compensation: Approximately $80,000–$100,000, based on experience and technical skill level

About the Role

Our company is seeking an experienced Dental CAD/CAM Designer to join a growing digital dental production team focused on implant restorations, custom abutments, implant bars, crowns, bridges, veneers, and advanced restorative cases.

This is a hands-on production role for a skilled designer who can contribute quickly to daily case workflow. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where precision, consistency, and turnaround time are very important.

This opportunity is well suited for a CAD/CAM designer who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with a technical team, and working on complex implant and restorative cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design custom abutments, implant bars, crowns, bridges, veneers, and other restorative cases
  • Review digital designs for accuracy, quality, and production readiness
  • Collaborate with production and technical team members to ensure accurate final outcomes
  • Support troubleshooting related to digital design, restorative planning, and case workflow
  • Maintain organized digital files and consistent design processes
  • Assist with printed model design and digital workflow improvements as needed
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding case requirements, timelines, and production needs
  • Work independently while maintaining high standards for accuracy and consistency
  • Participate in paid working interviews and case review processes when requested

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of dental CAD/CAM design experience preferred
  • Strong experience with implant restorations and custom abutment design required
  • Experience designing crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant bars
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following platforms preferred:
  • Exocad
  • 3Shape
  • Hyperdent
  • MillBox
  • Understanding of digital restorative workflows and dental manufacturing processes
  • 3D printing and printed model design experience preferred
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently in a production-focused environment
  • Portfolio and case examples required as part of the interview process
