What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Day Data Annotation Specialist, and why are they important?

To excel as a Day Data Annotation Specialist, you need strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and a solid understanding of the subject matter being annotated, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant experience. Familiarity with annotation tools, spreadsheets, and data management software is typically required. Excellent concentration, time management, and clear communication skills help professionals stand out in this role. These abilities are crucial to ensure high-quality, consistent data labeling that directly impacts the performance of machine learning models and downstream business applications.

What are some common challenges faced by Day Data Annotation specialists and how can they be addressed?

Day Data Annotation specialists often encounter challenges such as maintaining high accuracy while handling repetitive tasks, interpreting ambiguous data, and meeting tight deadlines. To address these, it's important to develop strong attention to detail, use project guidelines as references, and communicate with team leads or peers when uncertainties arise. Many organizations also provide regular feedback and quality assurance checks, which help annotators improve their performance and consistency over time.

What are Day Data Annotation jobs?

Day Data Annotation jobs involve reviewing and tagging data, such as images, text, audio, or video, during regular daytime hours. Annotators help prepare datasets for machine learning and artificial intelligence by labeling or categorizing information according to specific guidelines. This work is essential for training algorithms to recognize patterns, objects, or language. Day Data Annotation can be done remotely or in-office, and it often requires attention to detail and good communication skills.

Job description

FIND Healthcareers is a healthcare recruitment firm led by professionals who operate within the system — not outside of it. We partner with growing healthcare organizations across the U.S. to build clinical, operational, and leadership teams that improve how care is delivered.

We recruit across the full spectrum of healthcare talent — from Licensed Practical Nurses and Physicians to practice managers and operational leaders. Whether through direct hire, contract, or temp-to-hire placements, we connect candidates with environments where they can perform and organizations with people who actually move the needle.

Backed by strong relationships across healthcare networks and training programs, we don't just fill roles — we align talent with real-world operational needs.

Physician / NP / PA – Clinical Review & AI Care Plan Evaluation (Remote)

Overview

We are excited to invite experienced clinicians to join us in shaping the future of healthcare through next-generation AI systems! In this unique project role, you'll have the opportunity to review structured clinical data, create care plans from the ground up, and evaluate AI-generated outputs for their accuracy, safety, and clinical reasoning.

This isn't your typical clinical position. There is no direct patient care, no EMR documentation, and you won't be liable for patient outcomes. Instead, you will leverage your clinical expertise to train and evaluate AI systems used in healthcare settings.

Specialties Required (Applicants outside these will not be considered)
  • Primary Care (Internal Medicine / Family Medicine)
  • Cardiology
  • Endocrinology
What You'll Do1. Clinical Data Review
  • Review structured and unstructured EHR-style data (de-identified or synthetic)
  • Identify key clinical signals, comorbidities, and risk factors
  • Interpret data in a way that informs clinical decision-making
2. Care Plan Development
  • Create comprehensive care plans from scratch based on provided scenarios
  • Include appropriate diagnostics, treatment pathways, monitoring, and follow-up
  • Apply specialty-specific best practices and clinical guidelines
3. AI Output Evaluation
  • Review AI-generated care plans, summaries, or recommendations
  • Assess for:
    • Clinical accuracy
    • Completeness
    • Safety risks
    • Logical consistency
  • Provide clear, structured feedback and corrections
4. Annotation & Clinical Reasoning
  • Document step-by-step clinical reasoning behind decisions
  • Explain why a care plan is correct, incomplete, or unsafe
  • Identify gaps, omissions, and flawed assumptions in AI outputs
5. Rubric & Framework Development
  • Contribute to the creation of evaluation rubrics and scoring frameworks
  • Help define what "good" clinical reasoning and care planning looks like
  • Collaborate on standardizing quality benchmarks for AI evaluation
What This Role Is NOT
  • ❌ No patient interaction
  • ❌ No prescribing or treatment decisions for real individuals
  • ❌ No billing or charting
  • ❌ No malpractice exposure tied to patient care
Requirements
  • Active clinical license (MD, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience (post-training preferred)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate decision-making processes
  • Comfortable working with structured frameworks and written analysis
  • Experience in one of the following:
    • Primary Care
    • Cardiology
    • Endocrinology
Nice to Have
  • Experience with utilization review, chart audits, or clinical QA
  • Familiarity with clinical guidelines (e.g., ADA, ACC/AHA, USPSTF)
  • Prior exposure to AI, data annotation, or digital health tools
Compensation
  • Competitive hourly rate based on specialty and scope
  • Higher rates for advanced tasks such as care plan creation and rubric development
  • Flexible, project-based hours
Why This Role Matters

You will play a vital role in training and enhancing AI systems that will be utilized across the healthcare landscape. Your clinical judgment will help ensure these systems are safe, accurate, and aligned with real-world medical practice.

We don't just place candidates — we work inside healthcare operations every day. That means we understand what actually works on the ground. If you're looking for a role where that matters, we encourage you to apply.
