Electrical Engineer

Location: Oak Brook, IL
Work Schedule: Hybrid – 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and mission-critical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design experience, knowledge of electrical codes, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
  • Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Perform electrical calculations, load analysis, and system studies.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure designs comply with NEC, local building codes, and industry standards.
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
  • Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide engineering support throughout project execution.
  • Assist with field investigations, site visits, and project commissioning activities as needed.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and engineering records.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher education, data center, or institutional projects.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Strong understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC).
