Job description

Starting Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
Position Overview:
JST is seeking a Plastic Fabricator to support the manufacturing of custom wet process and precision cleaning equipment for the semiconductor, biomedical, and advanced manufacturing industries. This position is responsible for fabricating, welding, and finishing plastic components while ensuring all work meets engineering specifications and JST quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Read, understand, and follow work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine the optimal fabrication methods required to meet part tolerances, fit, and finish.
  • Competently fabricate, weld, and finish plastic components to JST quality standards.
  • Safely and efficiently use woodworking tools, power hand tools, and plastic welding equipment.
  • Use measuring instruments and support JST's quality program by following established quality procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Previous plastic welding is preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Plastic welding experience is preferred.
  • Technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Able to consistently produce quality work while meeting production schedules.
  • Experience using measuring devices and power tools.

Related Experience:
Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:
  • Plastic fabrication or welding
  • Wood working or finish/trim carpentry
  • Precision welding

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to safely lift and carry, push or pull objects up to 50lbs.
  • Able to walk, stand and work on feet for the duration of shift.
  • Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, grasp, handle and operate hand/power tools or controls.
