PHI Health is the leading air ambulance provider in the United States. We transport more than 22,000 patients each year from our 80+ bases across the country and maintain the highest standard of safety.

Job Summary

PHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines) requires a pilot for an AS350 aircraft with VFR/NVG. 24‑hour operations (day/night rotation). Successful applicants must transition to the aircraft within 1 year (or 2 years if a relocation package is used). External search may run concurrently with internal posting. Successful applicants will participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies.

Responsibilities
  • Perform line pilot duties according to GOM.
  • Support the Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns.
  • Load and unload patients and equipment (lifting up to 100lbs).
  • Work with internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service.
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive pay, shift bonuses, shift incentives, annual safety bonus, annual employee bonus, and other benefits.

Qualifications
  • Commercial and Instrument helicopter ratings.
  • First‑class medical certification.
  • CAMTS requirement: 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 PIC helicopter hours, 500 turbine helicopter hours, 100 unaided night hours or 50 unaided & 100 NVG hours.
  • Weight restriction: 235lb. or less.
  • Strong communication, internal and external customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre‑placement physical exam, drug screening, & background check.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
