Construction Manager
Fredericksburg, VA
WHAT WE DO: Connect/One is a residential and commercial broadband telecommunications contractor supporting the needs of our major MSO's including: Comcast, ABB, Altice USA, RCN Lehigh Valley, Spectrum
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ensures construction, installation, service and customer satisfaction goals and company standards are met while complying with federal, state and company technical standards
  2. Supervises performance, completion and compliance of subordinates
  3. Assists in defining workload requirements and available resources to maximize efficiencies
  4. Prepares information to be used in detailed reports compiling all daily and monthly activities and proposing changes to work.
  5. Actively participates in the interviewing and selection of Technicians. Mentors, coaches, conducts Performance Assessments. Conducts monthly performance, quality and safety inspections and prepares
  6. When necessary initiates corrective action as needed to maintain expected standards.
  7. Capable of reading Design Maps
  8. Quality Control of work performed.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Employee is regularly required to stand, bend and lift.
  • Previous experience in the trade required.
  • DOT Medical card

EDUCATION: Successful applicant should have a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Speaking a second language is helpful, though not required.
