Job description

Delivery Driver / Nursery Technician        

Company: Phinest Cannabis Location: Sacramento, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $22/hour

This is a combined position, and duties will flex depending on the needs of the business.

About the Role

This dual-function position splits time between route deliveries and nursery operations, supporting both our logistics and cultivation teams as business needs require.

Responsibilities

Delivery Driver

  • Assist with deliveries as assigned based on business needs
  • Available for early morning departures, extended hours, and overnight travel
  • Proactively communicate route delays or issues to customers and managers
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and handle payment collection for deliveries
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained
  • Load and unload vehicles (up to 25 lbs.)
  • Maintain a clean driving record

Nursery Technician

  • Support the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing plants, including watering, pruning, washing, cloning, sorting, quality control, and facility maintenance — under the direction of Nursery Managers
  • Complete tasks assigned by Nursery Managers
  • Catalog and organize plants, tags, and pruning biomass
  • Follow nursery department policies and procedures
  • Wash and sanitize equipment
  • Maintain an organized, clean work environment

  • A nurturing, dedicated individual with strong attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and holidays
  • Strong problem-solving, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organization, patience, and flexibility
  • Physical ability to climb, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, stand, bend, and reach
  • Able to work in warm, humid, high-light environments
  • Minimum age 21, must pass a background check
