Job description

Director, Oncology Performance Analytics and Insights

  • United States - Pennsylvania - Collegeville

  • United States - New York - New York City

We’re in relentless pursuit of breakthroughs that change patients’ lives. We innovate every day to make the world a healthier place.

To fully realize Pfizer’s purpose – Breakthroughs that change patients’ lives – we have established a clear set of expectations regarding “what” we need to achieve for patients and “how” we will go about achieving those goals.

Pfizer offers competitive compensation and benefits programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our colleagues.

Director, Performance Analytics & Insights

Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights that inform some of Pfizer's most critical business questions. Within Oncology, our Performance Analytics & Insights (PAI) team translates complex secondary data, including IQVIA, Symphony, specialty pharmacy, and others into commercial strategy. We connect what the data says to what the business does, sitting at the intersection of brand strategy, patient access, and business performance. Our work directly shapes how Pfizer's oncology portfolio reaches the patients who need it most.

This role will work closely with senior business stakeholders across brand, franchise, and commercial leadership, acting as a strategic partner and directing performance tracking and reporting across one or more oncology brands or franchises. That includes brand demand, market share, patient segments, and subnational performance patterns. This role will also lead efforts to standardize methodology and reporting practices across the Oncology PAI portfolio. The role is dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative, covering a broad range of strategic topics critical to the oncology business. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to driving business impact through proactive thought leadership, deep oncology fluency, and the ability to communicate complex information in clear, actionable ways.

Role Responsibilities

Role definition and key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Commercial Performance Reporting & Tracking

  • Own the strategic direction of performance reporting for assigned oncology brands or franchises, including brand sales, TRx/NPS, market share, and attainment vs. targets, across weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadences.

  • Direct the use of secondary data sources to identify trends, surface risks and opportunities, and connect data signals to brand strategy decisions.

  • Guide analysis through the lens of defined patient segments, such as demographics, lines of therapy, treatment setting, and prior treatment history, to explain how disease characteristics and treatment patterns shape market dynamics, prescribing behavior, and patient flow.

  • Oversee subnational analytics to identify geographic variation in brand performance and market dynamics, and make sure insights get surfaced proactively rather than on request.

  • Ensure the integrity of enterprise reporting infrastructure (e.g., Oncology LT Dashboard) for assigned brands, including proactive
