About the Role:

As a Behavioral Health Therapist at Quincy Medical Group, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, and psychological concerns. Working collaboratively with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and interdisciplinary care teams, you will assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions that support improved mental and emotional well-being.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position, Monday-Friday, daytime hours.
• Schedule may vary based on patient and departmental needs.
• No routine weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and/or group therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Assess patients for safety concerns, including suicide risk, and develop appropriate intervention and safety plans.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response and changing needs.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding behavioral health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
• Assist with care coordination, referrals, and connection to community resources when appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with professional ethical standards, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required.
• Current Illinois licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist required (or eligibility to obtain licensure as required by the position).
• Previous outpatient behavioral health or integrated care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, crisis intervention, and behavioral health assessments.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trusting therapeutic relationships with patients of diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered behavioral healthcare.

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $60,195.20 - $90,292.80 annually with actual pay determined by experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through bonuses and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
