Locum | Physician | Cardiology | Lewisburg, PA

Shift: 7:30 AMโ€“4:00 PM; night and 24-hour call coverage
Start Date: 10/05/2026
End Date: Ongoing
Position Details: Full-time General Cardiology coverage involving clinic, procedures, and call. The schedule includes weekday clinic coverage, night call, and 24-hour weekend call. Candidates should be available for all listed coverage dates, with 1โ€“2 weeks of RTO potentially considered.
Patient Population: Adults
Setting: Clinic and Hospital
Type of Healthcare Facility: Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities: Provide general cardiology clinic and hospital coverage, perform procedures, round during call coverage, and interpret nuclear studies and cardiac testing.
Required Procedures:

  • Nuclear reads โ€“ Required
  • Stress tests โ€“ Required
  • TEEs โ€“ Required
  • Cardioversions โ€“ Required
  • Echo monitoring โ€“ Required
  • Echo boarded โ€“ Required
  • Nuclear boarded โ€“ Required
  • CT reads โ€“ Preferred

EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: APP with Interventional Cardiology support when working General Cardiology
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Night call and 24-hour weekend call required. Approximately 1โ€“2 nights of call per week and 1:4โ€“5 weekend call. Weekend callback is typically 0, but rounding is required.

Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC accepted
- Nuclear boarded and Echo boarded; CT boarded preferred
- DEA required; minimum 1 year of experience
