Job description

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove the leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances is a longstanding, family-owned company in the Madison area. Icons of design and paragons of performance and quality, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove are the refrigeration, cooking, and dishwashing specialists found in world's most luxurious homes. We look for team members who are driven by innovation and excellence, striving to serve our customers by doing what is right-with integrity, teamwork, and accountability.
Growth and development are important aspects of this position. Whether you aspire to be a leader or a technical expert, this position will set you up for success in the future.
Primary Responsibilities:
Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse Engineering:
  • Design, configure, and enhance Dynamics 365 CE / Dataverse solutions, including tables, relationships, forms, views, business rules, model-driven apps, security roles, and solution components.

  • Build and maintain automation using Power Automate and Dataverse capabilities to enforce standards, streamline processes, and reduce manual intervention.

  • Implement and support light-to-moderate custom development (e.g., plugins, custom actions, client-side scripting) where platform capabilities alone are insufficient.

  • Troubleshoot platform, automation, and customization issues with a focus on root cause resolution and long-term stability.

  • Manage solution lifecycle across environments (Dev/Test/Prod), including packaging, deployments, versioning, documentation, and rollback planning.

Data Quality & Governance Operationalization:
  • Implement data quality controls such as validation rules, reference data enforcement, duplicate prevention/detection, and exception workflows.

  • Define and monitor actionable data health metrics (e.g., completeness, duplicates, invalid values, stale records).

  • Partner with business owners to improve upstream data entry practices and reduce data issues at the source.

  • Document data standards and governance rules in ways that are enforceable, automated, and auditable.

Data Retention & Lifecycle Management:
  • Implement and operationalize data retention, archival, and disposition processes aligned with policy and compliance requirements.

  • Create repeatable processes for bulk data remediation, archival, and controlled purge activities with appropriate approvals and auditability.

  • Monitor data growth and proactively recommend actions to maintain Dataverse performance and cost efficiency.

Integrations & Platform Partnerships:
  • Design and support integrations between Dynamics 365 / Dataverse and external systems using appropriate patterns (APIs, scheduled, or event-based approaches).

  • Ensure integration reliability through effective error handling, retries, idempotency, monitoring, and documented runbooks.

  • Coordinate with security and infrastructure teams on identity, service principals, access controls, and secure connectivity.

  • Contribute to integration design within established enterprise patterns; this role is not the sole integration or enterprise architect.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience engineering and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse, including data modeling, security, solutions, and environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate, including flow design, triggers, approvals, error handling, and operational support.

  • Working knowledge of data modeling and SQL concepts, with the ability to diagnose data integrity and integration issues.

  • Experience operating within governed ALM / SDLC practices for Power Platform and Dynamics 365.

  • Practical experience working with REST APIs and JSON-based integrations.

  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into enforceable system behavior.

We value our employees by providing:
  • Competitive compensation based on skills
  • Industry leading health, dental, and vision plans
  • Generous 401 (K) savings and profit sharing
  • On-site UW Health clinic, fitness center, and walking paths
