Job description

As a Senior DataStax / Cassandra DBA, you’ll play a key role in architecting, designing, and evolving our distributed NoSQL environment while remaining hands‑on with production systems.

This is an on‑site role built for DBAs who take pride in operational excellence and automation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve Cassandra / DataStax schemas, tables, indexes, and ETL solutions for scalability and resilience
  • Partner closely with application and architecture teams to guide data modeling and query design
  • Set standards for performance, capacity planning, and best practices across the platform
  • Proactively monitor workloads and drive design improvements before issues reach production
  • Contribute to automation and platform modernization using Ansible, and shell scripting

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
  • 7+ years of Cassandra or NoSQL database platform experience
  • Deep hands‑on expertise with Apache Cassandra and/or DataStax
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and performance tuning
  • Automation experience with Ansible, or shell scripting
