The SA Data Solutions Architect will build sophisticated data models and dashboards that directly support smarter business strategies, driving growth and contributing to the company's ability to scale. This role focuses on streamlining operations and developing data-based solutions that allow for improved efficiency or increased productivity. This role continually broadens access to reliable, accurate, and timely data to improve decision making for both the SA administrative teams as well as SA commercial teams and stakeholders.

  • Serve as a thought leader for technical data connections that ultimately increase efficiency, decrease errors, and enhance productivity.

  • Create and implement management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels. Maintain documentation and version control regarding various projects, processes and operations.

  • Perform data discovery, cleaning, analysis and modeling. Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance and streamline processes. Identify automation opportunities and build automations for routine or repeated tasks.

  • Conduct daily systems analytics to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems. Define alerting requirements. Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders on user requirements, validation, and cross train teams and associates. Educate non-technical stakeholders on data utilization strategies.

  • Partner with stakeholders across business units to develop analyses and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently.

  • Create data models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations while maintaining data integrity and accuracy. Use tools such as PowerBI Desktop, DAX Studio, Power Query, SQL server(s), Python, etc. Ensure the data architecture aligns with key business objectives and that accurate and up-to-date data is available to stakeholders.

  • Work closely with the SABM team to support their current technical needs and identify new technologies which will be valuable for the team and its mission. Adjust processes and tools when necessary.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data collection and analysis methods.

  • Validate and confirm data accuracy, both within the model and within produced visualizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Combination of 3-5 years of experience &/or work in an elevated role with emphasis on pricing, data modeling, economics, &/or finance

  • 1 or more years previous experience with SQL or other database management tools, PowerBI or other visualization software, statistical modeling, PowerQuery, DAX, and M code

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Statistics/Data Analysis or other related field or combination of equivalent education and experience working in a related role
