Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking a DataStage/CP4D Platform Admin for their client in Detroit, MI. The role involves troubleshooting issues, supporting Datastage projects, and ensuring technical solutions meet requirements for the Platform.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot issues and provide constructive solution
• Understand the Client IIS architecture and the surrounding interfaces to contribute in design, coding, testing, support, and debugging of existing applications
• Participate in business and meetings
• Ensure technical solution created by the development teams meet requirements for Platform.
• Monitor Platform and ensure no impact to the business.
• Support password changes or setup connections for new environments to support upgrades
• Perform Impact analysis for any changes to the existing environment for outages/upgrades/changes
• Provide Platform support for Datastage projects
• Providing support for UNIX and Database activities
• Design, develop and implement Solutions for new requirements and enhancements
• Responsible for documenting standard operations procedure
• Perform design and code review and provide recommendations as per standards for end to end design, development and testing.
• Develop and recommend continual service improvements for applications for ease of maintenance and code quality.
• Performance tuning for performance challenges
• Create dashboards as per requirements
• Ensure knowledge transition for development of new interfaces, production releases.
• Drive Go-live activities for smooth deployment cutovers.
• Perform code deployments for the teams.
• Very Good Hands-on experience in Datastage Administration (Work Experience on Grid is Strongly Preferred)
• Must have hands-on experience in IBM Cloud Pak for Data Administration.
• Must have good understanding if IBM Cloud Pak for Data development.
• Must have hands on-experience on RedHat OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Must have some experience on AWS or any other similar cloud offering.
• Must of some experience on GitLab, Terraform or a similar DevSecOps stack.
• Support and troubleshoot Production systems, optimizing performance, resolving Production problems, and providing timely follow-up on problem reports related to DataStage environment.
