SAP BRIM Data Analyst Developer (BODS and EMIGALL) / Full-Time / Hybrid / Middletown, PA

The Position:
Position Title: SAP BRIM Data Analyst Developer (BODS and EMIGALL)
Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA
Duration: 24+ Month Project

Note: Hybrid work environment is expected to be 1-week per month on-site in Middletown PA, varying with project needs.  In addition to the PA ePATCH background check, PTC requires a National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start.

We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Data Analyst Developer (BODS and EMIGALL) to support enterprise SAP BRIM data migration and conversion across SOM, CC, CI, and FICA using SAP BODS and EMIGALL.  Analyze legacy systems, map data to BRIM target structures, build ETL/migration jobs, and validate data quality through cutover and production stabilization.

Our SAP BRIM Data Analyst Developer (BODS and EMIGALL) will perform the following duties;
- Data Analysis & Migration Support: Analyze legacy source systems and map data to SAP BRIM target structures (SOM, CC, CI, FICA, customer/billing master data); support extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- SAP BODS Development: Design/develop/maintain BODS jobs, workflows, scripts, and ETL processes; build source-to-target mappings; optimize for performance/scalability; support batch scheduling; troubleshoot job failures.
- SAP EMIGALL Development: Configure/develop EMIGALL migration objects and load programs for master data, transactional data, FICA, customer accounts, and billing/invoicing; execute loads, validation, mock conversions, and cutover.
- Data Validation & Reconciliation: Develop validation scripts, reconciliation reports, data quality checks, and test scenarios; validate completeness/accuracy/integrity; resolve discrepancies and migration defects.
- Technical Development & Integration: Support integration between BRIM and S/4HANA, CRM, legacy billing platforms, and external sources; collaborate on APIs/interfaces/middleware; perform SQL/database-level analysis.
- Testing & Production Support: Participate in SIT, UAT, and performance testing; support migration deployment and post-production stabilization; troubleshoot production issues.
- Documentation & Governance: Maintain mapping documents, ETL specs, migration procedures, and runbooks; support data governance, compliance, and change management standards.
- Collaboration: Work with data architects, BRIM functional consultants, BASIS, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders; participate in workshops/design reviews; provide knowledge transfer.

The Skills and Experience:
- 3+ Years: SAP data migration or data development experience
- 3+ Years: SAP BODS development experience
- 2+ Years: SAP EMIGALL development and migration experience
- Proven experience supporting enterprise SAP BRIM or FICA migration initiatives
- Hands-on: BODS ETL jobs/workflows, data mappings/transformation logic, EMIGALL migration objects/load processes, SQL queries and reconciliation reports
- Strong understanding of SAP BRIM data structures, FICA migration concepts, data migration methodologies, and data quality/reconciliation practices
- Experience with S/4HANA integrations, database technologies, APIs/middleware, and performance optimization
- Strong analytical, ETL development, communication, and documentation skills; able to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to data quality
- Experience with SAP Data Migration Cockpit, HANA, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and cloud-based SAP environments is a plus
- Industry experience in utilities, telecom, transportation, finance, or subscription-based businesses; large-scale transformation and Agile/hybrid delivery experience; prior SAP consulting/contractor experience is a plus
- Certifications (preferred): SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BRIM; SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Data Services; SAP Certified Technology Associate – HANA; S/4HANA; data integration/ETL certifications is a plus
