Job description

The Product Manager is responsible for driving the profitable growth, strategic direction, and lifecycle management of Vericomโ€™s product portfolio across the Americas Division. This role leads product strategy, market opportunity analysis, pricing, revenue growth, and go-to-market initiatives across multiple product categories supporting datacom, telecom, and data center infrastructure markets.


This position works cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Distribution Partners to develop and execute product strategies aligned with customer needs and company growth objectives. The Product Manager will play a key role in identifying emerging market trends, defining product roadmaps, and driving innovation across the business.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead strategic planning and lifecycle management across product lines
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to identify customer needs and emerging industry trends
  • Serve as a subject matter expert during customer engagements and industry events
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for new product development, portfolio expansion, and strategic investments
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and sales enablement tools
  • Support successful new product introductions and transition into manufacturing
  • Facilitation of tools development, content creation, and data management for Customers, Partners, and other Stakeholders


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in the datacom and datacenter industries
  • In Person Position. Knoxville, TN
  • Strong interaction with Channel Partner ecosystem
  • Domestic and international travel as needed
