Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Superintendent for our Data Center Solutions business. The Superintendent will oversee our construction projects an act as the link between various project parties. The Superintendent will lead and manage the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site. Will be responsible for orderliness on-site to ensure compliance and safety regulations, that all quality standards are being met, and all equipment and materials are received and available. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with Safety, health, and quality standards.
  • Coordinating and overseeing all work on site.
  • Leading and Managing the on-site construction team.
  • Communicate with Project Management progress and needs.
  • Representing our organization in a professional, confident, and calm manner.
  • Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine and communicate project needs.
  • Set performance goals and deadlines.
  • Review the project schedule and budget to ensure on time delivery and under budget.
  • Provide cost savings concepts in material, labor, processes etc.
  • Attending coordination and progress meetings.
  • Keep track of project progress.
  • Ensuring quality and code standards are met.
  • Place orders or release the call for orders down for material and equipment.
  • Review project document and records such as field reports Request for Information (RFI’s), change proposals and change orders.
  • Submit timecard and expenses on time.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Electrical, HVAC, instrumentation and/ or controls panel systems
  • Experience in a Construction environment
  • Reviewing any termination and cabling and conduit work that Electrical Contractors do for completeness, quality and accuracy
  • Attending daily meetings on site with General Contractor, Electrical Contractor, and Equipment (UPS, Battery, Switchgear, etc.) vendors
  • Experience commissioning equipment and/or tracking issues reviewing and commenting on pre-made scripts
  • Ability to write daily summary reports/emails
  • Ability to lead and inspire.
  • Maintain an OSHA 30 certification.
  • First-Rate interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specification, control drawings and other documents.
  • Be proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel, to include Bluebeam.
  • Proficient with taking and uploading digital photographs.
  • Professional client-facing and internal communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Datacenter operations experience preferred

Salary Range: $51-$63/hr. DOE.
