Job description

***Must be able to be onsite in West Palm Beach 4-5 day a week***


In this role, you will design and implement scalable Data & Analytics solutions with Databricks platform and related AWS and GCP technologies. Working closely with technical and business stakeholders, you will help shape modern data architectures, estimate projects, guide engineering teams, and deliver reliable cloud-based data platforms throughout the full project lifecycle, from discovery and solution design to production implementation.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design scalable Data & Analytics architectures using Databricks and modern cloud-native data platform technologies
  • Collaborate directly with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements, facilitate architecture discussions, and translate business needs into technical solutions and implementation roadmaps
  • Define data platform architecture, data models, ingestion strategies, and source-to-target mappings for batch and streaming workloads
  • Support engineering teams by providing technical guidance, reviewing solution designs, and promoting data engineering best practices
  • Contribute to architecture decisions, technology selection, estimation activities, and delivery planning across complex Data & Analytics initiatives
  • Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical designs, and implementation guidelines
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, build prototypes, and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the engineering community


REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect designing and delivering enterprise-scale Data & Analytics platforms
  • Strong expertise with the Databricks platform
  • Hands-on experience designing scalable batch and streaming data architectures, data pipelines, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Spark (PySpark/Spark SQL) and modern data processing frameworks
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred), Scala, or Java, combined with advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with orchestration technologies such as Databricks Workflows, Apache Airflow, or equivalent workflow orchestration tools
  • Familiarity with modern data warehousing and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or similar technologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures


This posting includes an anticipated salary range that SoftServe expects to offer for this position. The range provided reflects the base salary only. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on some factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, budget, and market conditions.


The anticipated salary range for this role is $180,000 โ€“ $210,000 annually, in line with our internal compensation framework and budget allocation for the role. Most candidates are offered a salary within this disclosed range. If the role is eligible for a variable pay plan, this would be considered separately and may provide additional earnings beyond the base salary range reflected here.
