Job description

Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a senior, hands-on AI/ML Engineer contractor with expert level Python skills. The role involves designing and building agentic AI frameworks, delivering ML-ready datasets, and owning MLOps foundations to integrate ML models into production-grade systems.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build agentic AI frameworks end to end, including planning, execution, memory, tool orchestration, and evaluation (not limited to data preparation or tool integration)
• Engineer Databricks Lakehouse / Medallion architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold) using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake
• Deliver ML ready datasets, feature engineering pipelines, and Feature Store implementations that unblock Data Scientists
• Own MLOps foundations using Azure ML and MLflow, including training, validation, promotion, monitoring, and retraining orchestration
• Integrate ML models and agentic AI workflows into production grade systems
• Operate confidently in PHI/PII regulated environments, enforcing security, governance, and compliance
• Scale delivery rapidly in a fast moving, scale up environment
• This role requires deep hands on Python development, strong experience with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or comparable custom implementations), and a proven record of delivering production AI systems in regulated enterprises.

Required:
• Expert level Python skills
• Proven experience delivering end to end agentic AI systems
• Experience with Azure Databricks
• Deep hands on coding and ownership from design through production
• Design and build agentic AI frameworks end to end
• Engineer Databricks Lakehouse / Medallion architectures using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake
• Deliver ML ready datasets, feature engineering pipelines, and Feature Store implementations
• Own MLOps foundations using Azure ML and MLflow
• Integrate ML models and agentic AI workflows into production grade systems
• Operate confidently in PHI/PII regulated environments
• Strong experience with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or comparable custom implementations)
• Proven record of delivering production AI systems in regulated enterprises
• Bachelor of Computer Science
