What we look for:
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Security or related areas and expertise in two or more of the following--Cryptography, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Governance, Privacy, Trust, Safety, Authentication, Identity Management, Access Control, Key Management, Inter-Service Authentication, Secure Application Frameworks, Detection and Response. Experience building systems at large scale internet companies is a huge plus.
  • 10+ years of experience building large scale distributed systems with high availability
  • Leadership skills and experience to lead across functional and organizational lines
  • Strong communication skills to explain and evangelize Data Security to senior leaders across the company
  • Bias to action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions
  • MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
