You'll be part of a small, close-knit team that ensures the smooth operation, security and performance of our mission critical databases. In this role you will:
  • Oracle database administration including installation, configuration and maintenance.
  • Manage database backup and recovery procedures ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Create & manage user accounts, define access controls and adhere to security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and bottlenecks and implement optimization techniques.
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and enhance database performance.
  • Maintain understanding of clustering technologies and data encryption.
  • Create knowledge base of topics such as backup/restore procedures, performance tuning and security best practices.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer and document best practices, procedures and solutions.

  • Educated. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar preferred
  • Experienced. 6+ years Oracle DBA experience in a production environment
  • Knowledgeable. DB admin, BU/Restore, security, performance optimization, data encryption and PL/SQL
