  • Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain databases.
  • Provide 24x7/production support, monitoring, and incident resolution.
  • Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Manage backup/recovery, replication, HA/DR, and failover activities.
  • Troubleshoot database, Linux, storage, and application connectivity issues.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks and improve reliability.
  • Support capacity planning and database infrastructure optimization.

Must-Have Skills

  • Sybase DBA Preferred / Top Priority
  • OR MS SQL Server DBA
  • Strong Linux/Unix experience, especially for SQL Server candidates.
  • Production database support experience.
  • Performance tuning, backup/recovery, HA/DR, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong incident management and problem-solving skills.
