Database Administrator

As a Database Administrator at ABC, you will be responsible for providing operational support for various relational databases, ensuring their availability, designing and developing physical databases, and leading database upgrades and data migration tasks. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our database systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide operational database support for MS SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and other relational databases at ABC.
  • Ensure database availability by quickly troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues.
  • Plan, design, and develop physical databases according to required specifications.
  • Lead and execute database upgrades and data migration tasks between databases or across platforms, such as from SQL Server to MySQL.
  • Configure and install Database Management System patches and/or updates.
