Job description

The Senior Database Developer will perform advanced analysis and development work involving all aspects of supporting, improving, and enhancing and optimizing the database performance for a large project. This position requires strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience, along with extensive experience in performance tuning of stored procs and views. The developer will also devise approaches to solving complex problems, provide thought leadership, and provide ongoing updates on project status. Work assignments follow a defined software development life cycle (SDLC) process using an Agile-like approach for completing code changes for defined releases.
Expertise working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (advanced concepts such as bulk collect, handling data in JSON/XML format)
Expertise with writing complex Oracle queries and optimizing them to reduce SGA/PGA/TempSpace usage
Proficient in storing, querying, manipulating JSON data in Oracle database tables
Proficient in creating complex queries and views using data stored in JSON format
Proficient in optimizing performance of stored procs and views accessing data stored in JSON format
