In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
  • Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided

  • Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
  • Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
  • Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

. Experience with Database design and architecture reviews for new application features.
. Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, RDS, and Aurora database administration.
. Experience on Database provisioning, upgrades, patching, backup, recovery, and HA/DR support.
. Experience on Performance tuning, SQL optimization, and production issue resolution.
. Experience on Database migration support using AWS DMS.
. Experience with Support ECS/Fargate applications with database connectivity and configuration.
. Should be able to Review and recommend optimal database sizing, architecture, and AWS cost optimization.
. Should Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and production readiness reviews.
. Should Support Kanban work for operational requests, incidents, maintenance, and database changes.
. Collaborate with application, cloud, and DevOps teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable database solutions

Preferred Skill and Experience

. Co-ordinating with multiple teams
. Working with teams for trouble shooting DB (Oracle, Aurora RDS, Redshift etc.) issues

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
