Job Location

The primary work location for this role is East Coast with a remote work model.

About Envestnet

Envestnet is an adaptive WealthTech company that is redefining the future of wealth management by helping advisors meet the moment with its comprehensive technology, actionable insights, and industry leading support. Backed byover 25 years of experience and approximately $7.0 trillion in platform assets, Envestnet is trusted by over one third of financial advisors across leading banks, wealth managers, brokerages, and RIAs.

For a deeper look at how Envestnet is shaping the future of financial advice, visit www.envestnet.com.

The Team You’ll Join

The Financial Systems team at Envestnet plays a critical role in powering the technology behind the company’s finance operations, building and enhancing the systems that support reporting, reconciliation, and the close process. Partnering closely with Finance stakeholders, the team develops integrations, dashboards, and automation within Oracle Fusion to ensure accurate, scalable, and efficient financial data flow across the organization. By combining deep technical expertise with business insight, they drive continuous improvement in how financial processes are executed—making it an exciting space for those who enjoy solving complex problems at the intersection of finance and technology.

How You’ll Contribute

This is a hands-on Oracle EPM developer role embedded in the Financial Systems team. You are the technical owner of the FCCS build — consolidation rules, Groovy scripts, FDMEE data pipelines, multi-currency translation, and close automation. You report to the Director, R2R and steer the FCCS implementation: stabilizing the monthly consolidation, onboarding the India entity, and automating the close. The Oracle Fusion Developer — R2R owns the General Ledger side of the house; you own everything downstream of the ledger.

You inherit an environment with real operational urgency: FCCS consolidation experiences recurring monthly issues, and India entity onboarding is in flight — a three-ledger architecture with a Tally-to-Oracle migration designed in partnership with EY. You are expected to be independently productive: given a consolidation requirement, you can design the metadata, write the Groovy, build the data load, and validate the output — without step-by-step guidance.

  • Oracle FCCS — Implementation & Configuration
    • Own FCCS technical configuration: metadata hierarchies, consolidation and translation rules, calculation sequences, and data forms
    • Write and maintain Groovy scripts for consolidation logic, currency translation, and data validation
    • Eliminate recurring month-end consolidation failures — account combination propagation, refresh timing, and data load errors
    • Build and maintain intercompany elimination rules, including new India-US flows
  •  FDMEE / Oracle Data Management
    • Configure and maintain workflows, data load rules, and source-system mappings for GL-to-FCCS data flows
    • Design the India entity FCCS extract: INR functional currency setup and multi-currency translation validation
    • Troubleshoot data loads, consolidation errors, and refresh failures using log analysis and direct table queries
  • Close Automation
    • Build EPM Cloud Automate job sequences for refresh automation and close dependency management
    • Automate repetitive consolidation tasks to support accelerated close timelines
    • Build data feeds into ARCS using REST APIs or FBDI for automated balance population, in partnership with the R2R Developer
  • Reporting & User Enablement
    • Develop and maintain Smart View templates for Finance and Accounting users
    • Build consolidation validation queries and reporting; support audit requests with system evidence and configuration documentation

Technical Skills Required

  • Shared Technical Foundation
    • Oracle SQL / PL/SQL: Query Oracle Fusion tables directly (GL, AP, AR, etc.); write SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting; troubleshoot data issues at the table level
    • Oracle REST APIs: Consume and test Oracle Fusion and EPM Cloud REST services for data loads, metadata management, and period-close operations; read API documentation and design integration payloads
    • Groovy Scripting: Write and maintain Groovy scripts within Oracle EPM/FCCS for consolidation and calculation rules; extend to BPM workflow customizations and Oracle application scripting where applicable
    • Oracle BIP / OTBI: Build BI Publisher report templates (RTF, Excel); write OTBI analyses and dashboards; create data models over Oracle Fusion subject areas
    • Oracle FBDI: Build and validate File-Based Data Import templates for bulk data loads; troubleshoot import errors using log files and Oracle table queries
    • Oracle Integration Architecture: Understand Oracle Fusion and EPM module table structures and data flow well enough to design integrations, validate payloads, and diagnose errors without hand-holding
  • EPM-Specific Technical Skills
    • FCCS Groovy: Hands-on Groovy scripting for FCCS consolidation rules, calculation scripts, and data forms — this is a hard requirement
FDMEE / ODM: Workflow configuration, data load rules, location/dimension mappings, and troubleshooting
    • EPM Cloud Automate: Job scheduling, close automation sequences, and dependency management
EPM Cloud REST APIs: Oracle EPM Cloud REST services for metadata management, data loads, and job execution
    • Multi-Currency Consolidation: Translation rule configuration, functional vs. reporting currency mechanics, CTA validation, and intercompany elimination design
    • Smart View: Template development, connection management, and user administration
    • GL Literacy: Working knowledge of Oracle GL schema (GL_BALANCES, GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS, GL_LEDGERS) sufficient to reconcile FCCS against source data

What You’ll Need to Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle EPM technical development experience (FCCS strongly preferred; HFM with cloud transition experience considered)
  • Groovy scripting in an Oracle FCCS or EPM Cloud context — not just familiarity, demonstrated production use
  • FDMEE or Oracle Data Management configuration experience — workflows, data load rules, and mappings
  • Experience with multi-currency consolidation: translation rules, functional currency setup, and intercompany eliminations
  • Oracle SQL proficiency: comfortable querying EPM and GL schemas to diagnose data issues
  • Ability to read API documentation, construct payloads, and independently troubleshoot integration errors

Nice-to-Haves

  • Oracle FCCS implementation experience — greenfield build or HFM-to-FCCS migration
  • Oracle ARCS configuration or data integration experience
  • Experience supporting new entity onboarding or cross-border consolidation (India/Tally-to-Oracle a plus)
  • ASC 830 currency translation familiarity sufficient to validate FCCS translation output
  • Experience with Workato or another iPaaS platform
