What you will be doing:
The Database Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's databases, data pipelines, and reporting infrastructure. This role ensures data integrity, availability, security, and performance while supporting business intelligence, analytics, and operational applications. The ideal candidate combines strong database development expertise with modern data engineering practices to transform raw data into reliable, scalable solutions that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance database solutions, including complex stored procedures functions, and query optimization across SQL Server and Azure SQL environments
  • Build and manage scalable, fault-tolerant ETL/ELT pipelines using both on-prem and cloud-based tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks)
  • Develop and support enterprise data warehouse and data mart architectures to enable reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives
  • Collaborate with application developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient data models and solutions
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency through validation, monitoring, and implementation of data governance best practices
  • Optimize database and warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, query tuning, and workload management
  • Implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure availability and resilience of critical data systems
  • Support integration between enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, etc.) through reliable and scalable data pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, performance bottlenecks, and ETL failures in production environments
  • Support users with analytics tools such as PowerBI

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 5+ years of experience in database development, data engineering, or related roles
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL, including query optimization and stored procedure development
