What is database management?

Database management refers to the process of storing, organizing, and maintaining large amounts of data using specialized software called database management systems (DBMS). Professionals in this field are responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, secure, and backed up. Effective database management is crucial for businesses to make informed decisions and maintain their operations.
