Description
Position Summary
As a SkillBridge Intern at Jet Linx, you will train alongside our professional flight crew as a Second-In-Command (SIC) candidate. This immersive internship offers active-duty service members valuable industry exposure, hands-on flight experience, and preparation for a career in corporate aviation. Successful interns will be well-positioned to transition into a full-time SIC role at Jet Linx.
Location: Must reside or be willing to relocate within a 2-hour call-out of assigned home base.
Minimum Requirements
(Higher minimums may apply for midsize, super-mids, and heavy aircraft)
  • Total Time: 1,500 hours
  • PIC: 500 hours
  • Fixed-Wing: 1,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 500 hours
  • Turbine: 100 hours
  • Instrument: 150 hours

Essential Functions:
  • Assist in the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards
  • Manage duty, flight, and rest periods per company policy and federal regulations
  • Maintain up-to-date EFB hardware, software, navigation charts, and manuals
  • Provide timely communication regarding standby duty, trip details, and flight reports
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and proactive decision-making in dynamic environments
  • Uphold and exemplify Jet Linx core values in all duties

Other Requirements:
  • Flight operations within the last 12 months as an assigned PIC or SIC
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Additional Requirements
  • Current 1st Class Medical Certificate
  • Current passport
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • ATP certificate or ability to obtain
  • Ability to pass FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing when required; anyone in a safety-sensitive function will be required to undergo pre-employment drug testing for the presence of marijuana, cocaine, opiates, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted to Canada and the Caribbean
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in and around aircraft/terminals
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
