General Description Summary:
Pima Association of Governments is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Intern to support daily administrative operations and assist with Human Resources functions while gaining hands-on professional experience in an office environment. This internship is ideal for someone looking to develop organizational, communication, and business skills while contributing to a productive team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general office tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents
  • Answer phones, take messages, and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Support scheduling, calendar management, and meeting coordination
  • Enter and update data in spreadsheets, databases, or internal systems
  • Prepare packets, reports, and correspondence as needed
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and assist with ordering materials
  • Greet visitors and provide professional customer service
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation preparation
  • Help maintain employee files and ensure documents are properly organized
  • Support recruiting efforts such as scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates
