As a database administrator who specializes in Oracle, you know how to manage and secure database technology. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve the database technology supporting national security.
On our team, you'll develop and maintain database features, custom reports, and queries. You'll provide your client with peace of mind as you develop and contribute to policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of the database. With your technical experience, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we'll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers. Work with us as we improve database technology to change an intelligence-driven and threat-focused national security organization for the better.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle, Postgres, or Mongo DB
  • Experience with developing and maintaining database code using PL or SQL
  • Experience managing secure databases, enforcing policies, and optimizing performance
  • Experience in backup and recovery, configuring and optimizing databases, data administration, migrations, logical modeling, and query tools
  • Experience with developing and maintaining custom reports and queries using PL or SQL
  • Experience with version control systems, including Git
  • Experience with troubleshooting and supporting enterprise applications, while maintaining 24/7 availability
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
