Are you a Mechanical Engineering student looking for hands-on experience that goes beyond coffee runs and filing paperwork? Join American Cutting Edge and gain real-world engineering experience while working on projects that impact industries across the country.
At American Cutting Edge, we design and manufacture custom industrial blades and cutting solutions used in food processing, packaging, recycling, medical, and other specialized industries. As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op or Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and gain valuable exposure to product design, manufacturing, customer collaboration, and problem-solving.
What You'll Do
  • Create and modify detailed product drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Reverse-engineer existing parts and develop technical drawings from samples.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing engineering drawing databases.
  • Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to support customer projects.
  • Communicate with customers regarding product specifications and technical details.
  • Participate in real-world engineering projects from concept through production.
  • Gain exposure to manufacturing processes, custom product development, and industrial applications.
What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
