Position Summary

Reporting to the AVP of Philanthropy, the Database & Stewardship Specialist is a key member of the Development team at Parc Center for Disabilities, responsible for leading Raiser's Edge NXT and supporting all aspects of development operations. This role oversees database administration, gift processing, reporting and analytics, donor stewardship, and prospect management to ensure accurate data, efficient fundraising operations, and meaningful donor engagement.


Working collaboratively with the Development and Finance teams, the Database & Stewardship Specialist provides reporting, systems, and operational support needed to strengthen fundraising efforts, inform strategic decision-making, and maximize philanthropic support for Parc's mission.

Essential Responsibilities

Development Operations Leadership

  • Serves as the primary administrator of Raiser's Edge NXT, providing operational leadership for the fundraising systems while ensuring the integrity, security, and strategic use of donor and constituent data.
  • Develops and maintains database policies, procedures, coding standards, and best practices while identifying opportunities to improve development operations, technology, and workflow efficiency.

Database Administration and Gift Management

  • Oversees all aspects of database administration, including constituent record maintenance, data integrity, duplicate management, imports and exports, global changes, audits, quality assurance, and donor record maintenance.
  • Manages the accurate and timely processing of charitable contributions, donor acknowledgements, fundraiser assignments, contribution documentation, and supporting records while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with organizational standards.

Reporting, Analytics, and Business Intelligence

  • Develops recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and fundraising analytics to measure campaign performance, donor retention and acquisition, major gifts, annual fund, events, LYBUNT/SYBUNT activity, and overall fundraising performance.
  • Provides timely reports and key performance metrics to support strategic decision-making by the AVP of Philanthropy, President & CEO, Board of Directors, and Development team.

Fundraising Operations and Donor Stewardship

  • Provides operational support for annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, capital campaigns, foundation grants, corporate partnerships, and fundraising events through donor segmentation, prospect tracking, campaign management, mailing lists, stewardship reporting, recognition lists, customized correspondence, and leadership call lists.

Prospect Management

  • Identifies, researches, and manages prospective donors through wealth screening, relationship mapping, portfolio management, and accurate prospect tracking.

Financial Management

  • Partners with the Finance team to reconcile fundraising and financial records, prepare monthly reports, support audits, and ensure the accuracy of fundraising revenue reporting.

Technology and Team Support

  • Serves as the department's subject matter expert for Raiser's Edge NXT and related technologies by recommending system enhancements, supporting software integrations, maintaining documentation, and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Provides training, guidance, and technical support to the team while collaborating with internal departments, vendors, and consultants to maximize the effectiveness of fundraising systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in support of the mission and fundraising goals of Parc Center for Disabilities.
Requirements:

Education, Training and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ resource development experience required.
  • Donor database software management experience required, experience with Raiserโ€™s Edge database view and NXT strongly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational and analytical skills, and ability to work efficiently to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Knowledge of ChatGPT/AI, Constant Contact, Auction Software Programs (Qtego), and Peer-to-Peer Platforms (Boomerang) a plus
  • Blackbaud certifications are a plus.
  • Valid Florida Driversโ€™ License with acceptable driving record.

Schedule

  • Monday โ€“ Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Hours may vary on occasion depending on business needs.
  • This is a fully onsite role.

Pay & Benefits Package

  • Salary range is $58,000 โ€“ $63,000 annually
