About The RoleWe are seeking a curious and driven AI Full Stack Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team in Denver. This internship offers hands-on experience building and shipping features across the frontend and backend of Gesture's products, including agentic, AI-driven workflows, working directly alongside our engineering team on real, production-facing work.
Responsibilities
  • Learn and Build and ship features across our web and internal tooling stack, front end to back end
  • Learn and Design and prototype agentic workflows using LangChain or LangGraph
  • Write clean, tested code in collaboration with senior engineers
  • Work with our API layer, databases, and front end frameworks to deliver end to end functionality
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
  • Debug and resolve issues across the stack, from UI to database
  • Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into working software
  • Contribute to internal documentation and engineering best practices

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Some experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph, or other agentic-based development frameworks
  • Familiarity with the Fern stack (Firebase, Express, React, Node.js) strongly preferred
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with a modern front end framework (React preferred) and a back end language (Node.js, Python, or similar)
  • Understanding of REST APIs, databases, and version control (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities
  • Prior coursework, personal projects, or internship experience in software development, including any exposure to AI or agentic tooling, is a plus

Salary Range
$400 to $1280 per month
Compensation is paid in the form of a monthly stipend.
