Database Developer Contract Jobs in New Hampshire

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Database Developer in Merrimack, NH.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and optimize scalable database solutions that support enterprise applications and business operations
* Create and maintain database objects, ETL processes, and data integration solutions
* Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical designs and database architectures
* Develop, tune, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and data workflows
* Collaborate with application, architecture, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions
* Support database deployments, performance monitoring, and ongoing platform enhancements
* Contribute to cloud modernization, automation, and database optimization initiatives
* Participate in Agile planning, design reviews, and continuous improvement efforts
* Mentor team members and promote database development best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
* 7+ years of experience in database development, data engineering, or related technical roles
* Strong experience with Oracle databases, SQL development, and database performance tuning
* Experience developing stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and ETL solutions
* Knowledge of relational database design, data modeling, and enterprise data architectures
* Experience working with large-scale, high-performance database environments
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software delivery practices
* Experience with cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and modern deployment approaches
* Understanding of version control, release management, and DevOps concepts
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
* Experience in financial services, enterprise operations, or regulated industries is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
