Founded in 1992, Cascade Christian Schools serves infants through grade twelve and today is a thriving school district serving students and families throughout Pierce County. Focusing on Christ-centered education, Cascade Christian Schools is dedicated to developing discerning leaders who are spiritually, personally, and academically prepared to impact their world. Position Responsibilities
  • Opening the school for families and staff
  • Greet and receive students, school staff, and visitors in the main office
  • Check the identification of the parent/guardian dismissing the student and verifying information against the student's information file
  • Communicate with classrooms via the intercom system for paging students and/or staff
  • Answer incoming phone calls, take messages, and direct calls as appropriate
  • Assist with distributing student/parent communication/materials as needed or required
  • Collect attendance
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions and situations
  • Assist in Special events.
  • Help maintain student information in the student database
  • Help maintain emergency bins
  • Provide first aid to students when necessary.
  • Perform any other duties/assignments as assigned/requested by the Administrative Assistant and/or Principal.
Requirements
  • Agrees with Cascade Christian Schools' Teaching Statement and Statement of Faith
  • A Christian role model in attitude, speech, and action
  • Two years of prior work-related experience
  • Experience using Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Strong communicator
  • Take the initiative, be a self-starter
  • A strong, clear, Christian testimony
  • A mature, godly spirit
  • A lifestyle of Biblical integrity
  • Be a strong proponent of Christian education with a biblical worldview
  • Be an advocate for Cascade Christian's mission and purpose
  • Have a spirit of dedication, commitment, flexibility, and responsiveness to the needs of others
  • Ability to listen and respond to counsel
  • CPR Certified or willing to become certified
  • Ability to lift 30lbs.
Work Hours

Monday โ€“ Friday, 8:00 am - 12 pm

Salary Range

$20.30 - $23.05 per hour, depending on experience
