Job description

About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Appliance Installation Technician to install high-end residential appliances with precision and professionalism. In this role, you will perform site surveys, complete custom built-in installations, connect utilities safely, troubleshoot issues, and provide customers with clear guidance on appliance use and care.

What you will be doing each day:

  • Install high-end built-in and freestanding appliances (refrigeration, wine/beverage units, panel-ready models, ovens, microwaves, vent hoods, ranges/cooktops, dishwashers).

  • Perform site surveys to confirm installation readiness.

  • Complete custom and built-in installs with precise, seamless fit.

  • Coordinate with customers, contractors, and project managers to address site-specific issues.

  • Install appliances to manufacturer specs and building codes, connecting all required utilities safely.

  • Test appliances thoroughly and troubleshoot any issues.

  • Provide professional customer support on operation, care, and maintenance.

  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

  • Document installations with required photos and upload them to service software.

  • Report any issues or unusual conditions to the Customer Experience team promptly.

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Strong knowledge of appliance installation, especially high-end and luxury brands (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, JennAir, etc.).
  • At least 2+ years of experience installing residential appliances, including custom and panel-ready units.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve installation challenges with minimal customer disruption.
  • High accuracy in leveling, aligning, and securely connecting appliances.
  • Manufacturer certifications required.
  • Skilled in using installation tools, performing site surveys, and working in tight spaces; able to lift heavy appliances.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Experience troubleshooting independently and documenting work in service/delivery management software.
