Summary:
Results-driven IT professional supporting the Director of Technology Operations and Business Efficiency in maintaining and optimizing enterprise infrastructure. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver continuous improvement initiatives within Business Technology. Highly organized and efficient, with strong communication skills and a track record of delivering high-impact solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support IT projects and infrastructure improvements under the guidance of senior team members
  • Follow established IT change management processes and document completed work
  • Provide updates on assigned tasks, project progress, and outstanding issues
  • Participate in daily team meetings and operational reviews
  • Assist with gathering requirements, obtaining vendor quotes, and preparing documentation
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for users, systems, and network issues

Network Support, Configuration, and Monitoring
  • Assist with troubleshooting WAN and ISP connectivity issues
  • Install and configure network devices including switches, routers, and wireless access points
  • Support LAN and WAN deployments and upgrades
  • Perform routine firmware updates and network maintenance
  • Assist with VLAN, VPN, and routing configurations
  • Maintain network documentation and inventory records
  • Monitor network performance and alerts
  • Escalate complex network issues to senior administrators

Server, Database, and Cloud Support
  • Monitor and support Windows servers and Microsoft Azure environments
  • Assist with management of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and print services
  • Perform routine server maintenance and updates
  • Support database administration and troubleshooting activities
  • Maintain documentation for systems and procedures

Active Directory & Identity Management
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts
  • Manage security groups and access permissions
  • Support password resets and account lockout resolutions
  • Monitor Active Directory health and report issues
  • Assist with Single Sign-On (SSO) and synchronization processes
  • Perform routine user audits and access reviews

Microsoft 365 & Email Administration
  • Administer user mailboxes, distribution groups, and shared mailboxes
  • Support Microsoft Exchange Online and email-related issues
  • Troubleshoot email delivery and connectivity problems
  • Assist with spam filtering and email security tools
  • Perform routine updates and backup verification

Microsoft Teams Support
  • Manage Teams users, permissions, and basic policies
  • Assist with Teams Phone deployments and number assignments
  • Troubleshoot Teams call quality and connectivity issues
  • Support meeting, messaging, and collaboration features
  • Assist with third-party application integrations

Cyber Security
  • Monitor security alerts and report suspicious activity
  • Assist with endpoint protection, antivirus, and patch management
  • Support user access reviews and MFA administration
  • Participate in security audits and compliance activities
  • Follow incident response procedures and escalation processes

Backup & Disaster Recovery
  • Monitor backup jobs and verify successful completion
  • Perform routine restore testing under supervision
  • Document backup and recovery procedures
  • Report backup failures and storage capacity concerns
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning activities

Web & Internet Services
  • Assist with website hosting and DNS management
  • Support web access and content filtering solutions
  • Help maintain security standards for public-facing services

Telephony & Communications
  • Support Microsoft Teams Phone services and call routing
  • Troubleshoot call quality, voicemail, and connectivity issues
  • Assist with company texting and communication platforms
  • Coordinate carrier-related issues with vendors

Facility Expansion & Infrastructure Support
  • Assist with network deployments for new office and facility projects
  • Support low-voltage cabling, IDF/MDF setup, and equipment installation
  • Maintain network rack standards, labeling, and documentation

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Azure, cybersecurity principles, and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
