Hybrid 3-4 days on site in Cincinnati, OH

Our client seeks a professional to design and construct scalable data management systems, ensure alignment with business requirements, and research new applications for data acquisition. The role requires knowledge of data mining practices, algorithms, and practical uses of data.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $32.00 to $38.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems.
  • Build high-performance algorithms, predictive models, and prototypes.
  • Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices.
  • Integrate new data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.
  • Develop processes for data mining, data modeling, and data production.
  • Create custom software components and analytics applications.
  • Research new uses for existing data.
  • Employ a range of languages and tools to connect systems.
  • Collaborate with team members including data architects, IT, and data scientists.
  • Install and update disaster recovery procedures.
  • Recommend ways to improve data reliability and quality.
Experience Requirements:
  • Experience with non-relational and relational databases such as SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and MongoDB.
  • Experience programming and/or architecting a back-end language such as Java or J2EE.
