Summary

Summary

All Native Group is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Analytics Scientist / Senior Power BI Developer to support the U.S. Secret Service Data Analytics contract. This senior-level professional will design, develop, and maintain advanced data analytics solutions, interactive dashboards, reports, data models, and decision-support tools that enable government leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions.

The successful candidate will combine advanced Power BI and data analytics expertise with strong requirements management, stakeholder engagement, data modeling, visualization, quality assurance, and project delivery skills. The position requires an individual who can independently lead analytics initiatives from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, user training, and ongoing enhancement.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level Power BI dashboards, reports, applications, and analytics products.
  • Collaborate with government executives, division leaders, program managers, financial management personnel, procurement personnel, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical and functional requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, demonstrations, design reviews, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain business requirements documents, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, requirements traceability matrices, process flows, data dictionaries, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze complex structured and unstructured data from multiple business systems and sources.
  • Design scalable data models, semantic models, relationships, hierarchies, calculated columns, measures, and key performance indicators.
  • Develop advanced calculations and analytical logic using Data Analysis Expressions, or DAX.
  • Use Power Query and M language to connect, clean, transform, integrate, and prepare data for analysis.
  • Design dashboards and visualizations that clearly communicate trends, risks, performance, financial information, operational metrics, and actionable insights.
  • Apply data visualization, user experience, and accessibility best practices for executive and operational audiences.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, root-cause analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, improve data quality, reduce processing time, and enhance organizational decision making.
  • Develop and maintain extract, transform, and load processes and integrations across multiple data sources.
  • Validate source data, investigate discrepancies, reconcile results, and establish data quality controls.
  • Perform unit testing, system testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing support, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Manage Power BI workspaces, applications, permissions, deployment pipelines, gateways, refresh schedules, row-level security, and report distribution.
  • Ensure analytics products comply with applicable federal information security, privacy, records management, accessibility, and data governance requirements.
  • Develop standard operating procedures, user guides, training materials, release notes, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct dashboard demonstrations, user training, knowledge-transfer sessions, and executive briefings.
  • Provide technical leadership, peer reviews, mentoring, and guidance to junior and mid-level analytics professionals.

  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, data warehousing, data relationships, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with data cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance.
  • Experience developing executive dashboards, operational scorecards, performance metrics, key performance indicators, and trend analyses.
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting, descriptive analytics, diagnostic analytics, and predictive analytics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data analysis functions.
