Reporting Analyst II (Reporting & Automation)

This position is responsible for developing and supporting automated reporting solutions that help drive operational and financial performance across Revenue Operations. The analyst will partner with business stakeholders and senior team members to clarify reporting needs, build and maintain workflows, develop dashboards, validate data, and communicate actionable insights that support data-driven decisions. This role requires a solid analytical foundation, attention to detail, effective project coordination, and the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Use Alteryx or similar tools to prepare, blend, transform, and automate datasets used in recurring reports and dashboards
  • Apply established standards for data quality, documentation, testing, access, and reporting governance
  • Develop proficiency in relevant tools and recommend practical improvements that increase reporting accuracy, usability, and efficiency
  • Build knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle and connects data trends to operational processes across billing, EDI transactions, and cash metrics

Problem Solving

  • Translate defined business questions into structured analytical approaches with guidance as needed
  • Investigate data issues, identify likely root causes, and evaluate practical solutions
  • Connect reporting trends to operational or financial performance, including DSO, yield, and revenue
  • Summarize findings and clearly communicates key implications and recommended next steps to stakeholders
  • Follow and contribute to team best practices for building accurate, maintainable, and reusable reporting solutions

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage assigned reporting requests and project tasks, meeting agreed-upon timelines and quality expectations
  • Participate in stakeholder working sessions to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and confirm deliverables
  • Use project management tools, such as JIRA, to document requirements, manage work, and track progress
  • Communicate progress, dependencies, risks, and timeline changes to partners and team leaders
  • Balance recurring reporting, ad hoc requests, production support, and assigned project work

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Collaborate with peers and senior analysts to resolve reporting, data, and workflow issues
  • Documents solutions and shares project learnings that can improve team consistency and efficiency
  • Provides responsive support to business partners and incorporates feedback into reporting products
  • Demonstrates accountability, initiative, sound judgment, and dependable follow-through on assigned work

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information technology, engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience - Required
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or a related role - Required
  • Commitment to DaVita's Core Values - Required
  • Working proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, data validation, and common data-transformation techniques - Required
  • Experience creating or maintaining business reports, dashboards, and recurring analytical deliverables - Required
  • Experience with Tableau, including dashboard development, data visualization, calculated fields, filters, and publishing or maintaining content - Preferred
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Big Query or other cloud-based data services - Preferred
  • Experience using Alteryx to prepare data and develop scalable, automated workflows - Preferred
  • Experience using AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms, to support research, analysis, documentation, and process efficiency - Preferred
